Her collection – Hiding a White Pearl

“The jewellery in this collection has been dreamed up through my obsession with everyday things. Elegantly trashy jewellery that is a reflection of the world around me where there is beauty to be found in unlikely places.

“Hiding a White Pearl is about playing with traditional notions of the value of jewellery. My jewellery places value on the everyday, commonplace materials such as junky jewellery, fimo oven baked clay, packaging tape, plastic pearls and paint.

“The narrative runs through three large necklaces with small pieces made to compliment them. I am informed through my materials and processes.

“This is a collection of chaotic jewellery of a twisted day, gone but not forgotten.”
