Her collection – A Blessing and a Disguise

Her collection is based on the story line of the novel “Howl's Moving Castle” by Dianna Wynne Jones. The collection is the progression of the main character, Sophie, and the changes in the different outfits are based on key moments in the novel, including specific clothing changes and changes in her psyche.

This collection is heavily influenced by a love of historical dress and stage costuming. Traditional techniques are used throughout, as well as an obvious ballet influence.
